The 9th annual scientific meet of IAPA was conducted on 10th December, 2011 at Coimbatore under the auspices of KG hospital. Padmasree Dr.G. Baktavatchalam was the chief guest. The meeting was a success with over 75 delegates attending from various parts of India. CARE foundation gold medal for the best paper and Dr.S.Muralidharan award for the second best paper-both were bagged by physician assistants from KG hospital. Jalaja memorial silver medal for the quiz competition went to Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru.
