IAPA Awards

 

Introduction:

Awards are special recognition of good work and an encouragement to pursue higher goals. We wish to confer a nationwide recognition to two outstanding PAs through annual awards under two categories: ‘The Best PA Award’ and the ‘Emerging PA Award’. More awards will be added in due course. The IAPA profusely thanks Dr.Guru N.Reddy, Founder, Promoter and Director, Continental Hospitals for sponsoring the awards.

 

The Best PA award carries a citation and a cash award of Rs.25,000/-

 

The Emerging PA award carries a citation and a cash award of Rs.10.000/-

 

Send your nominations to the President, IAPA (president@iapaonline.org) on or before the 11th August by 1 p.m. The Panel’s decision will be conveyed to you on 12th morning.

 

Best PA Award

Eligibility Criteria

He/She Should have put in at least 10 years of service

Age not exceeding 40 years as on 1st August of that year

Two years relaxation will be provided to those candidates who have pursued higher studies ( Regular)

Additional 5 years relaxation can be provided for those who have completed doctorate programme

The entire period of work should have been completed in India

Outstanding contribution in their field of practice ( quality of work, academics & research)

Additional professional certifications/fellowships

He/She should be a member of IAPA

Break of service  of not more than 1 year can be considered for females (maternity leave)

Active participation in association activities will be an added advantage.

A letter containing information on the above and justification on why you should be considered for this award.

Emerging PA Award

Eligibility Criteria

He/She Should have put in at least 2 years of service

Age not exceeding 25 years as on 1st August of that year

Two years relaxation will be provided for to those candidates who have pursued higher studies ( Regular)

The entire period of work  should have been completed in India

Demonstrate capability to handle clinical decision making

Should have presented at least 1 paper in a national/international conference & / or  been a author/ co-author in a research publication in a  journal

He /She should be a member of IAPA

The entire period of work should have been performed in not more than 2 institutions

Break of service of not more than 1 year can be considered for female candidates ( Maternity leave)

Active participation in association activities will be an added advantage
